How We Achieve Success

• All students can learn.

• Teachers, administrators, parents, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the mission statement.

•Students need to not only demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills, but also need to be actively involved in the solving problems and producing quality work.

•Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.

•A student's self esteem is enhanced by positive relationships and mutual respect among and between students and staff.

•Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process through cooperative groups, hands-on activities and labs.

•The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative if our school is going to enable students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.

•Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs.

•Students need to apply their learning in meaningful contexts.

•A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning.

•Students will be provided the opportunity for experiences in technology that will train them for the 21st Century.

•Students will develop a healthy, cooperative, and competitive spirit in both the arts and academics.
