Subjects Taught
Social Studies 7

In 2003, I graduated from South Alabama with a Bachelor degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Social Science. In 2010, I received my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology.

This year will mark my 14 year teaching. I began my career in Mount Vernon at Belsaw Middle School. At Belsaw, I taught 6th grade American History, 7th grade Civics and Geography, and 8th grade World History. The following year I was invited to take part in a new and exciting program called Transformation at Calloway-Smith Middle School in Mobile. While at Calloway-Smith I taught 7th grade Civics and Geography, served as the Chair of the Social Studies Department, and participated on the technology committee. Looking for a change I transferred to Dunbar Creative and Performing Arts Magnet School in 2014. I have genuinely enjoyed my time at Dunbar and am excited to be a part of such a wonderful Mobile tradition.

In 2009 I married my best friend and beautiful wife Samantha. We have two children. They are the center of our world. Chloe Violet is five and Kaiser Philipp is three.
