Procedures for Early Dismissal Days:
NO student may leave the school grounds unless accompanied by a parent or authorized agent who signs them out on the Early Dismissal Log.
Visitors on Campus
Parents are always welcome and encouraged to visit our school, and participate in our school-sponsored activities. We welcome parent volunteers, but ask you to please sign in.
Visitors are required to report to the office before entering the halls and visiting classrooms.
Visitors are to sign in on the computer and receive a visitor’s badge which must be worn at all times.
Visitors who are parents or guardians of students enrolled in the school will be allowed to visit classrooms only after the teacher has been aware of the request and the administrator has approved it. In most cases, parents will only be allowed such permission during the teacher’s planning and conference period.
Students withdrawing from school must report to the office with a parent/guardian or a note requesting withdrawal with verification information. The student will visit each of his/her teachers to get and up-to-date grade, clear textbooks and library materials, and any debts.
Withdrawal process requires approximately one hour. Students will not be permitted to stay at school during the school hours and withdraw at the end of the day. Students must leave the school as soon as withdrawal is complete.
If a teacher determines that a student is ill and is unable to remain in the classroom, he/she may be sent to the office. The student must have a pass from the teacher. Upon arrival at the office the student must stop at the front desk and be signed in the first aid room. A student may sit in the office no longer than 15 minutes. After 15 minutes he/she must return to class or call a parent to come pick him/her up from school.
We are not allowed to give a student any medication unless it is prescribed by his/her Doctor.
IT IS URGENT THAT THE SCHOOL HAS AN UPDATED EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER AT WHICH YOU CAN BE REACHED.
